WATCH: E’LAST Do Whatever It Takes In Cinematic “Gasoline” MV

E’LAST has released their first full-length album EVERLASTING and the music video for the title track “Gasoline” on May 2nd at 6 p.m. KST.

The song shows the strong and energetic aspirations of the group in the style of bass music, a term used to describe several sub-genres of electronic dance and hip-hop music that focus heavily on bass.

“Gasoline” stands out with a fantastic and overwhelming atmosphere that captures the journey of racing towards “utopia” by lighting up the darkness until your whole body is broken, to escape “dystopia” — a never-ending darkness filled with devastation with no hope left.

The dramatized music video is cinematically shot and features futuristic themes and apocalyptic imagery. The E’LAST members portray six survivors of an unknown object crashing into Earth, in a story-driven narrative that shows a never-before-seen side of the group.

The eight-member group, unfortunately, has two members who are absent from this comeback. Seungyeop is currently enlisted in the military while Choi In has been on hiatus for health reasons. The lack of updates about Choi In since his break last September has caused fans to voice their frustrations towards their company, E Entertainment. We hope Choi In is doing well and hope to see both members return soon!

Meanwhile, EVERLASTING is the first full-length album from E’LAST since their 2020 debut, and like their previous releases, the members continue to showcase their creative drive with several writing credits across the record’s 10 songs.
