RBW‘s resident emotional rockers ONEWE are back with new music for the first time in a year and three months!
Returning on April 17th at 6 p.m. KST, the quintet released their third mini-album Planet Nine : ISOTROPY featuring all self-written songs, as well as the music video for the title track “Beautiful Ashes.”
The song contains a beautiful melody that contradicts the sad lyrics written by members Yonghoon and Giuk, about their regrets and longing for a failed relationship.
The arrangement perfectly represents the song’s Korean title which translates literally to “incinerator of memories.” It is full of the nostalgic and overwhelming band sound that audiences have come to expect from ONEWE.
Meanwhile, the music video accurately captures the song’s intensity, through stunning visual effects and captivating emotional performances, with each of the members portraying various states of sadness and heartache.
Planet Nine : ISOTROPY is the third installment of the group’s Planet Nine album series, and includes six tracks that continue to showcase ONEWE’s rise and growth collectively as musicians, songwriters, and performers.
