On March 15th KST, global girl group VCHA officially introduced their latest single along with a music video for its title track, “Only One!”
The song is a sweet confession of love for someone who has attracted their affection. It was written and composed by Nathan Cunningham, Marc Sibley, Tiffany Gia, and Jonathan Hall. Only One also features the B-Side track, “‘Favorite Girl.”
VCHA’s six members Lexi, KG, Camila, Savanna, Kaylee, and Kendall were selected through the show “A2K” (America2Korea). The survival project was a collaboration between JYP and Republic Records and aimed to create a global group “based on the first K-pop training system in North America.”
J.Y.P Entertainment representative Park Jinyoung personally served as a judge during auditions in five major cities in the United States (Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Dallas, and LA) to find candidates with the potential to be part of the project.
VCHA previously dropped a pre-release single called “SeVit (NEW LIGHT),” a music video for “Y.O.Universe,” and officially debuted with “Girls of the Year in January 2024.”
The group has been performing as the opening act for TWICE‘s “Ready To Be” world tour since February and will debut their new stage for “Only One” tomorrow during the show’s Las Vegas stop!
