On April 1st at 6 p.m. KST, Lucas made his solo debut with the single, “Renegade!”
The rock-based hip-hop track expresses a passionate desire to choose a path where they can improve and strengthen their inner selves as they walk forward without hesitation. It was penned by Anne Judith Wik, Bobii Lewis, and Nermin Harambasic while Ronny Svendsen, Adrian Thesen, and Anne Judith Wik took charge of its composition.
Renegade has a total of three songs which are all sung in English. This is Lucas’s first official activity after departing from his old groups.
Lucas is a former member of the supergroup NCT along with its sub-units NCT U and WayV. He was also previously part of the “Avengers-type” multigroup unit, SuperM, which held promotions in the U.S. He went on hiatus in 2023 after a controversy over his personal life and was eventually announced to have left the group.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop.
