K-pop legend BoA has made a comeback after a year and four months on March 26th at 6 p.m. KST!
Her self-written song “Emptiness” is an Afrobeat-based pop track that conveys the message of a simple but decisive breakup amid love and betrayal. The lyrics are about the journey of healing a broken heart by oneself mesmerizing the listener with BoA’s thick and delicate vocals.
In particular, BoA participated in the writing, composing, and arranging of this song. The singer has been receiving positive responses for her work producing aespa‘s “Dreams Come True” remake (original by SM Entertainment‘s first girl group S.E.S) and more recently NCT WISH‘s debut song “Wish.”
As expected from BoA, the music video contains an impressive and captivating dance performance paired with stunning visuals throughout.
