WATCH: “Boys’ Planet” Trainees Debut As EVNNE With “TROUBLE” MV

A new group has been launched!

On September 19th at 6 p.m. KST, EVNNE took their first step as an idol group with the release of their debut EP along with a music video for its title track, “TROUBLE.”

The song falls under the Baltimore Club genre and includes a tense rhythm, an addictive bass rift, and 808 Bass. It was written by Dr.JO, Cha Yubin (XYXX), and Rick Bridges and depicts a dynamic image of a “wild but attractive bad boy who independently changes the world.” hongsamman, Heechang (Coke paris), Noerio (THE HUB), Jacob Aaron (THE HUB), and THE HUB 88 all worked together to compose the track.

EVENEE is a seven-member group composed of former “Boys Planet” participants Keita, Park Hanbin, Lee Junghyun, Yoo Seungeon, Ji Yunseo, Moon Jeonghyeon, and Park Jihoo. The group’s name means “Evening’s Newest Etoiles” and represents their desire to shine bright and capture everyone’s hearts as artists.

Their first mini-album called Target: ME embodies their lofty determinations as its concept stands for “I will make myself a target that the public wants.” EVNEE aims to achieve their goal by being a team that moves forward fearlessly but with a friendly relatable charm to those of the same age.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
