With its release on March 24th, IU‘s “Through the Night” has achieved an all-kill on Korean music charts.
Eight major music charts were conquered after fans flocked to various sites to download the song digitally. Sites such as MelOn, Genie, Mnet, and Bugs were topped by “Through the Night” after the song’s release at 6 PM.
Accompanied by guitar for the core melody, “Through the Night” is included on IU’s fourth studio album. IU was also revealed to have written the lyrics for “Through the Night,” demonstrating much depth and meaning to the album and song for IU as an artist.
In other news, IU will be dropping another pre-release track on April 7th, with her fourth studio album to follow on April 21st.
