On August 28th at 6 p.m. KST, NCT released their fourth studio album along with a music video for the title track, NCT U‘s “Baggy Jeans!
The hip-hop dance song, written by WUTAN, features a heavy bass line and minimalistic drums as it sings about how confidence is attractive. It was composed by a sizeable team that includes Brice Fox, Griff Clawson, Jurek Reunamäki, JINBYJIN, Bobii Lewis, Moa “Cazzi Opeia” Carlebecker, and Anne Judith Wik.
This NCT U track is particularly special since this is the first reunion of Taeyong, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun, and Mark as a unit seven years after kickstarting NCT’s journey with their debut track, “The 7th Sense.”
Golden Age has a total of ten songs and comes a year and eight months after NCT dropped their third regular album, Universe, in December 2021.
