On June 26th at 6 p.m. KST, MNH Entertainment‘s rookie group 8TURN returned with their latest mini-album along with a music video for their title track, “EXCEL.”
Written by Cho Yoon-kyung, the hardcore hip-hop track utilizes old-school hip-hop elements blended with hard rock guitar sounds. Its lyrics speak of 8TURN’s awareness of their actions, their resolve, and the members’ desire to make their mark by carving their own path.
UNCHARTED DRIFT marks the group’s second EP and has a total of five tracks. The team debuted with eight members in January with the album 8TURNRISE and its title song, “TIC TAC.”
