WEi made their comeback on June 29th at 6 p.m. KST with the third and final installment of their current album series with Love PT.3 : Eternally.
“OVERDRIVE” is the title song on the sixth mini-album, defined by its groovy guitar sound and exhilarating dance beat. The lyrics are a dialog between one’s present self in search of themselves and the person at the end of the journey in hopes to comfort wandering and anxious youth.
WEi member Daehyeon participated in writing and composing the track alongside members of South Korean producing team HIGHBRID which includes OSKAR, HOW, T-lack and SIROO. Grammy winning and multi-platinum songwriters Ninos Hanna and Ronnie Icon also respectively worked on the lyrics and composition of “OVERDRIVE.”
Love PT.3 : Eternally contains a total of five tracks with various emotions about love, spanning multiple genres and contributions by seasoned musicians. R&B singer-songwriter Ra.D participated in composing B-side “All Day With You,” while BTOB‘s Hyunsik worked on closing song “End of the Day.”
