SMTOWN‘s winter album is finally here!
Headlined by two title tracks, the pre-released “Beautiful Christmas” and “The Cure,” 2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU Palace marks the 10th winter album released by SM Entertainment.
“Beautiful Christmas” is a carol dance song performed by Red Velvet and aespa to express their delight with the holiday festivities beside someone they love dearly. It was written by Jaewon Kim (Jam Factory) and composed by Justin Reinstein, ALYSA, and JJean from @NUMBER K.
Meanwhile, “The Cure” is a pop song that has exciting African rhythms and a message for humankind to practice sustainability as a response to the dire threat of climate change. It was written by Yubin Hwang with NCT‘s Taeyong and Mark while Olof Peter Markensten, David Zandén, Eirik Røland, Jacob Alm, Joel Eriksson, and Pär Löfqvist worked together to compose and arrange the track.
2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU Palace contains 10 tracks of various genres and collaborations between 58 artists from the company’s wide roster of talents. If you want to see more them, catch exciting SMTOWN performances on January 1st KST through various streaming sites as they welcome the 2023 with their free concert, “SM Town Live 2023: SMCU Palace at Kwangya”!
