WayV has finally returned after a lengthy wait with their highly-anticipated comeback!
On December 28th at 6 p.m. KST, the Chinese sub-unit released its fourth mini-album and the music video for its title track, “Phantom.”
The song combines elements of trap, hip-hop, dance, and pop to create a unique sound while the lyrics sing of staying strong and true in the face of adversity. It was written by Pan Yanting and composed by Adrian Mckinnon, Farida Benounis, JINBYJIN, Karen Poole, Sondre Nystrøm, and YTP.
Phantom contains a total of six new tracks (“Phantom,” “Diamonds Only,” “Good Life,” “Broken Love,” “Bounce Back,” and “Try My Luck”) and two previously released songs (“Back To You” by Kun and Xiaojun as well as “Low Low” by Ten and Yang Yang).
