Chen of EXO is back with new music! The singer’s third mini-album Last Scene was released on November 14th at 6 p.m. KST!
The title track “Last Scene” is a sentimental ballad that was written, composed, and arranged by the production team Honey Pot. Its lyrics depict a parting scene where everything becomes the end and gradually disappears.
Chen’s calm yet appealing vocals double the emotional atmosphere of the song. The beautiful piano melody and string arrangements blend together in harmony, creating a melancholic soundtrack to the autumn season.
Its music video stars “Squid Game” actor Park Haesoo who delivers a moving performance. He portrays a heartbroken man driving through the night in sorrow while recalling his former love. The subtle yet impactful performance pulls at the heartstrings and poignantly captures the essence of “Last Scene.”
Chen’s third EP contains six tracks and is his first album released in three years following 2019’s Dear My Dear. Since then, the EXO vocalist has completed his military service, gotten married, and welcomed two children with his wife.
