On November 11th at 6 p.m. KST, JYP Entertainment band Xdinary Heroes made a comeback with a new mini-album and a music video for its title track, “Hair Cut.”
Written and co-composed by the members themselves, the song describes negative emotions as something that wears away at a person and how cutting it away like hair will lighten their shoulders from the burden they’re carrying.
Xdinary Heroes’ second EP is titled Overload and contains a total of seven tracks: “Hair Cut,” “Sleep Talk,” “LUNATIC,” “Crack in the mirror,” “Ghost,” “X -MAS,” and an instrumental version of their lead song. This album comes three months after they dropped Hello, world! and shares a similar concept derived from computer terminology which represents their journey from taking tentative steps as they learn to the eventual complications that lead to the system overloading.
The six-member band, whose name symbolizes the message “WE ARE ALL HEROES,” made their debut in December 2021 with the digital single, “Happy Death Day.”
