Returning with their first Korean comeback for 2022 is TWICE!
The top girl group dropped their 11th mini-album BETWEEN 1&2 on August 26th at 1 p.m. KST along with the title track “Talk That Talk.” It captures a 90s-inspired mood with a sentimental yet thrilling beat. A catchy chorus melody which is a staple of TWICE’s repertoire flows effortlessly with moreish sensibility.
Composer Lee Woomin ‘Collapsedone,’ who made TWICE hits such as “Knock Knock” and “The Feels,” composed and arranged this latest track while famous K-pop lyricist danke of team lalala studio added the lyrics to the song.
“Talk That Talk” holds a lovely sentiment in its message of wanting the listener to say everything that is in their heart. It fits the theme of the album BETWEEN 1&2, meaning the stories between “ONCE” (the group’s fandom name) and TWICE. Members Chaeyoung, Jihyo, and Daeyhun participated in writing lyrics for three of the seven tracks.
The release is the first from TWICE since they renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment. Check out the MV for “Talk That Talk” below!
