After a one year hiatus, YG Entertainment group WINNER will be having a comeback!
During the year of 2016, YG Entertainment faced a year full of obstacles, including groups disbanding, debuting new groups, and members leaving from other groups. All this going on does not even include the groups that were busy promoting. With so much on their plate, fans began to think WINNER was beginning to be forgotten!
After successful results from their last comebacks “Baby Baby” and “Sentimental,” YG left fans waiting for another amazing comeback. However, after all the events during the past year, their comeback was pushed back and the label left many fans waiting and asking, “What is going to happen to WINNER?”
Well, the wait is finally over!
The group announced through a teaser image on March 16th, 2017, that they will be having an album drop with the title “Fate Number For.” It will released April 4th, at 4 p.m.— definitely fitting the theme of “four.” Ironically enough, main vocal Nam Taehyun left WINNER in 2016, leaving the group as a quartet.
Over the past year, members of WINNER have worked very hard, as a self-producing group, to produce music for their fans. All their efforts have resulted in the hope that this new album will satisfy the wait fans had to go through!
