Singer-songwriter JAMIE is embarking on her very first North American tour this October! She will be performing in seven major cities: Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, Brooklyn, Dallas, Seattle, and San Francisco.
In addition to the tour, it has been revealed that JAMIE will be releasing a new EP just days before the tour begins. The upcoming record is the vocalist’s first EP to be released in four years. The EP follows a string of hit songs from JAMIE, including her own solo singles, collaborations with Korean artists such as CHANGMO and Jay Park, and global stars like David Guetta, Ty Dolla $ign, and Doja Cat. Whatever she releases, JAMIE has found continued success on the charts both in Korea and abroad.
The artist has truly come into her own since the early days when she performed under her real name, Jimin Park. She rose to fame as the winner of the survival program “K-Pop Star” at the young age of 14. She then went on to officially debut in 2012 as one half of the JYP duo 15&. The young vocal powerhouse was universally praised for her stellar voice and strong performances.
As a soloist, JAMIE also released the EPs 19 to 20 and jiminxjamie in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Showcasing her maturity and growth as an artist, in 2019 she became the first Korean artist to be signed to Warner Music Korea.
The singer also became a fan-favorite offstage for her fun and playful personality as an MC of the K-pop variety show “After School Club.” She recently departed the show after seven years, making her the program’s longest-running MC to date.
Pre-sale tickets for JAMIE’s first-ever headlining North American tour in October will be available on August 24th at 5 p.m. PDT (August 25th at 9 a.m. KST). Meanwhile, general tickets go on sale on August 29th at 5 p.m. PDT (August 30th at 9 a.m. KST).
