WJSN is here!
On July 5th at 6 p.m. KST, the idol group came back with an album and released a music video for its title track, “Last Sequence.”
Co-written by Lee Seuran and WJSN member Exy, the dance track likens their journey to a production and expresses their awe at the overwhelming finale that burns into their memories forever.
It was described by their agency as “a pop style dance song that inherits WJSN’s splendid performance and overflowing passion.” before revealing that the theme is a reference to their shining success at Mnet‘s “Queendom 2” where the group received the top prize and a renewed wave of appreciation from the general public.
Starship Entertainment also explained that the music video was conceptualized with the idea of “a dreamy sea, a stage performed by fascinating mermaids” to heighten the charm of their melody.
Sequence marks the WJSN’s first special single album and comes in 13 physical album versions. The group last returned with the digital single “Let Me In” back in September 2021.
