Great news for fans of Ravi and company! This weekend kicks off the tour of GROOVL1N in the USA, allowing music fans to see Ravi before he begins his upcoming military service.
Beginning today, May 14th, in New York City, the “2022 GROOVL1N U.S. Tour” will be performing at Le Poisson Rouge. The tour will then progress to Chicago on May 15th before heading to Atlanta on May 17th, followed by Denver on May 19th, Dallas on May 20th, and a final stop in Los Angeles on May 22th!
Originally, artists Ravi, nafla, Xydo, and Cold Bay were set to join the tour. However, it was announced in April that Cold Bay would be unable to join the tour after all. GROOVL1N then released a statement yesterday that due to sudden personal problems, nafla would also be unable to make it for the tour.
Studio PAV— the production company behind the tour— revealed that due to the unforeseen circumstances of the announcement, they were just as surprised about the news. They reassured the fans that all six shows would go on as planned and they will do everything they can to make sure the shows are high-energy and exciting. Of course, with amazing hip-hop artists like Ravi and Xydo, the shows are already guaranteed to be a lot of fun and energetic!
Tickets are still available at kpoptickets.com. Don’t miss out on the special offers going on right now as well! You can get your own ticket starting at just $15 USD! You can also get a VIP ticket package, complete with a group photo and hi-touch event for just $149. Head on over to kpoptickets.com to purchase your tickets before it’s too late.
Ravi first became famous as a member of the iconic K-pop boy band, VIXX. He later established himself as a solo artist and songwriter, in addition to founding GROOVL1N. The company is home to multiple artists, mostly specializing in the hip-hop genre. Ravi also went on to steal the hearts of all Korean viewers (and global viewers as well) after becoming a fixed member of the beloved variety series, “2 Days & 1 Night.”
It was on the show just a few weeks ago, that he announced he was leaving to soon fulfill his military duties. The other members of the show were quick to remind him that his spot on the show will be open for him to return to as soon as he finishes his service.
Meanwhile, Xydo is a vocalist and producer who debuted under GROOVL1N in 2019. Formerly an underground R&B artist, his music is now a combination of R&B and hip-hop. Apart from his own music, he has made a name for himself through his great collaborations with other artists such as Moonbyul, pH-1, BUMKEY, and more.
