WATCH: WOODZ (Cho Seungyoun) Has Had Enough In “I hate you” MV

On May 4th at 6 p.m. KST, WOODZ returned with a new EP along with a music video for its title track, “I hate you.”

The pop song is infused with punk and rock elements and sings about leaving behind someone who doesn’t love them back. The singer’s fourth mini-album called COLORFUL TRAUMA has a tracklist composed of six songs, each one he personally wrote and composed for.

WOODZ, real name Cho Seungyoun, debuted as part of the Yuehua Entertainment group UNIQ in 2014. He joined the male idol survival program “Produce X 101” in 2019 and fought his way to snag a spot in the final line-up for the project group, X1.

With the team’s unexpected early disbandment, WOODZ went on to venture out as a solo artist. He released his first mini-album EQUAL in June 2020 and last made a comeback with the EP Only Lovers Left in October 2021.
