WATCH: NCT Dream Is Intense In Game-Inspired “Glitch Mode” MV

On March 28th KST, NCT Dream introduced their second full studio album along with a music video for its title track, “Glitch Mode.”

The song is a hip-hop dance piece layered with a dynamic 808 bass which sings about how you buffer and lag when facing the person you like. It was written by NCT‘s Mark Lee alongside Alony 55, Benjamin 55, Sam SZND, and Yoo Jae Eun.

The accompanying music video features the members working at a classic game store and trying to contain their euphoria while communicating with someone special on their phones. In this comeback, NCT Dream incorporates rapidly repetitive and jerky movements which visualize their “lagging” as they are overcome with emotions.

Glitch Mode comes in two different physical versions and contains a total of 11 new tracks. As of March 27th KST, pre-orders for the album have exceeded over two million stock pre-orders. NCT Dream’s first full album, Hot Sauce (which dropped back in May 2021), previously held the record at 1.7 million stock pre-orders.
