On November 29th at 6 p.m. KST, Chung Ha returned to captivate fans with her special single, “Killing Me.”
The track’s Korean lyrics was co-written by the singer and Cho Yun Kyoung while Celine Svanbäck, Cutfather, Jeppe London, Musikality, and Sam Merrifield worked together as composers.
Set against a rhythmic pop sound, the song talks about the dark feeling of isolation due to a suffocating love as well as their enduring hope to break free and step into the sunlight. “Killing Me” was accompanied by a music video showing a devastated Chung Ha trying to keep herself together and having flashbacks of much more innocent times.
The soloist dropped her first full album titled Querencia back in February which featured the title track “Bicycle” as well as pre-released digital singles “Everybody Has,” “Stay Tonight,” “Play,” “Dream of You,” and “X.”
