ONEUS is back with their sixth mini-album Blood Moon, making their comeback with title track “Luna” on November 9th at 6 p.m. KST.

Revisiting the traditional Korean concept presented in the group’s 2019 track “Lit,” the latest release goes even harder than its predecessor. The fusion of oriental instrument composition with contemporary synth-pop genre sounds prevalent in modern K-pop gives the song a deeper and more colorful ambience.

RBW’s Lee Sangho, Seo Yongbae, and Lee Hoosang wrote and composed “Luna” with Inner Child(MonoTree). ONEUS members Ravn and Leedo also took part in the writing process. The lyrics were written in the form of a modified poem containing beautiful and creative expressions in the Korean language, further implementing the song’s classic traditional identity.

ONEUS’ Hwanwoong also directly participated in creating the choreography for “Luna,” with its elegant and sophisticated performance, which uses traditional handheld fans as its signature point.

The music video is an impressive cinematic expression of the song’s theme, boasting exceptional scenes, transitions and theatrics that harmonious flow together seamlessly. It includes a powerful dance break that demands attention and showcases ONEUS’ grand showmanship.

Blood Moon contains a total of seven tracks, including previous releases “Shut Up 받고 Crazy Hot” and “Life Is Beautiful” which are part of the “ONEUS Theatre” project. Notably, “Yes Or No” is written and composed by Ravn and R&B group-turned-K-pop-producers OneWay. Leedo also participated in the lyrics while OneWay members Peter and Young Sky provided chorus vocals and bass guitar on the track, respectively.

Meanwhile, “We’re In Love” sees Seoho join Ravn and Leedo in writing alongside VROMANCE’s Park Hyunkyu, who lends his vocals to the chorus on the album and composed the song with Seoho, Leedo, and RBW’s Jin Minho. Additionally, Kanghyun of ONEUS’ brother group ONEWE is credited as a guitarist on the album.
