B.I himself wrote the lyrics and co-composed the song with Park Jae Jun, MILLENNIUM, and SIHWANG. The song describes the feelings that his lover draws out of him and his love that feels boundless.

COSMOS features eight tracks and ponders upon the wonder of a love that that continuously ignites the desire to go on forward and to keep dreaming. Rapper and singer-songwriter Colde takes part in B-side track, “Nerd.” A CD-only song titled “Buddy Buddy” is also included in the tracklist.

After leaving iKON in 2019, B.I went on to become the executive director of IOK Company and released a charity album, Midnight Blue (Love Streaming) earlier this year under 131 Label (an affiliated label under IOK Music).
