WATCH: JUST B Disarms A Time Bomb In “Tick Tock” Music Video

Fiery rookies JUST B are back with their first single album, JUST BEAT, and its explosive title track “Tick Tock” on October 27th at 6 p.m. KST.

The pop dance song, composed by Seo Euiseong and Andreas Ohrn, contains multiple elements and musical textures. It includes trap beats dominating the first half, a lyrically melodic middle section, and intense glitch sounds. With repeated lyrics of “Tick Tock” representing the hands of a clock ticking, the track written by danke of lalala studio is ear-catching and undoubtedly addictive.

The futuristic music video is equally memorable with each of the six JUST B members featured attempting to escape their own individual simulations. Various concept items such as black butterflies, masks, codes and countdowns are present which builds upon the foundational themes established in the group’s previous MV for debut song, “Damage.”

Expressing the dynamic conflict between good and evil through their choreography, the performance showcases JUST B’s charismatic skills and praiseworthy synergy as a rising fourth generation K-pop boy group.

JUST BEAT contains two additional songs which further expand on the album’s theme of pulsating internal emotions and the meaning of controlling them. “Vindicated” is a hip-hop dance song that combines addictive synth loops and 808 bass with catchy vocal inflections expressing a strong will to find even the littlest of hope amidst despair.

Meanwhile, “Try” with its authentic chord progression and aggressive beats is a song about finding inner-strength to overcome anger in order to save yourself.
