Actor Kim Seon Ho has officially issued an apology regarding the recent issue with his ex-girlfriend.
On October 17th KST, a woman made an anonymous post online accusing her actor ex-boyfriend of various bad behavior, including forcing her to have an abortion while promising a future marriage. Though the woman did not specifically reveal Kim Seon Ho’s name, many took hints from her post to make the connection to the actor.
On October 19th KST, Salt Entertainment released a statement that they were looking into the matter. The next day, the actor made an official statement as well, although nothing was mentioned in regards to specific accusations. In it, he apologized to his ex-girlfriend for his “carelessness and inconsiderate actions” that hurt her. He further expressed his remorse for disappointing those who had believed in him and supported him as an actor. His agency also offered an apology for causing concern due to their actor’s personal matters.
Following his statement, it was announced that the actor would be leaving “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4” where he was a main cast member. Since the program has unaired footage that was yet to edited, the show decided that they would edit out the actor to the best of their ability to minimize the viewers’ discomfort. In addition, the actor has been dropped from upcoming movies in which he was set to appear. Several ads in which he was appearing have also hidden his ads or removed him from the ads.
After the news story continued to develop, the ex-girlfriend released a new statement online. She revealed that she has already received an apology from the actor and that they had some “misunderstanding.” She also stated that as they did sincerely love one another in the past, she hates to see him collapsing so quickly because of her post. She also said she feels burdened due to others who have received damage due to the incident.
