Sunmi has released a new music video!
On October 11th KST, the soloist released a music video for “Go or Stop,” the theme song for esports team DWG KIA which is defending champion of the League of Legends World Championship.
The song, in which Sunmi participated in writing and composing, is about overcoming fear and boldly moving toward victory, even when faced with a challenge. “Go or Stop” features a strong electronic sound, a departure from the retro-pop style that Sunmi has previously released but showcases the singer’s ability to cover different styles.
With the concept of future gamers, the music video expresses the image of gamers and game streamers who are active in a space that symbolizes the future of e-sports. In addition, the charismatic performances by Sunmi and her choreography team, along with various Easter eggs representing DWG KIA, are the high points of the music video.
DWG KIA plans to use this theme song for their journey towards another title in this year’s League of Legends World Championship. It is expected that track will play a role in bringing together K-pop and e-sports fans.
