On September 20th at 6 p.m KST, HIGHLIGHT‘s Yang Yoseob (Yang Yoseop) introduced his first full solo album and a music video for its title track, “BRAIN.”
The R&B track (written and composed by KZ, Kim Taeyoung, and DINT) describes a surge of memories that continuously haunts them as they wander through the city on a quiet night.
Chocolate Box features a 12-piece tracklist and comes in three versions: White, Milk, and Dark. Yang Yoseob helped pen lyrics for four of the tracks. Fellow artists pH-1, Minseo, and SOLE made their respective features in the album.
Yang Yoseop debuted with BEAST under Cube Entertainment back in 2009. In 2017, they left the company and established their own label, Around US Entertainment, to continue promoting as a four-member team called HIGHLIGHT.
The singer made his solo debut in 2012, previously released a mini-album called Back in 2018 and a digital single named “20 Full Moons” in 2019.
