Popular stars YoonA and Kim Seon Ho will soon star opposite each other in a new romantic-comedy film entitled “2 O’Clock Date.”
The film focuses on two neighbors in an apartment building who begin to meet by chance every day. The film is said to be a sweet, fairy-tale like love story where the man upstairs begins to fall in love with the woman who lives one floor below him. However, she has a secret that is far beyond his imagination.
It should come as no surprise that Kim Seon Ho is receiving many love calls from the film industry right now due to his rocketing popularity which go hand-in-hand with his great acting abilities. However, it’s said that when the actor read the script for this movie that he immediately expressed his desire to appear in it.
Meanwhile, YoonA has gained immense popularity as an actress in recent years— largely due in part to her appearance in the mega hit film “EXIT.” As it happens, “2 O’Clock Date” is being directed by Lee Sang Geun, the same director and writer of “EXIT.” The 2019 film not only starred YoonA, but it also starred Jo Jung Suk. It took Korean audiences by storm and gained many favorable reviews by critics as well. “EXIT” was only YoonA’s second film ever at the time, even though she had acted in many drama roles.
For the new film “2 O’Clock Date,” this will be Kim Seon Ho’s second film ever as he was just recently cast in his first film role a few weeks ago— despite his many years of experience as a TV and stage actor. The new movie will begin filming in March of 2022.
As Kim Seon Ho and YoonA previously co-hosted an awards show in 2020 and showed great chemistry together, fans are already looking forward to how they will do together in a romantic-comedy film!
