Famous indie rock band NELL has released a new music video!
On September 9th KST, the four-member band released a music video for “U-Hee.” The track is one of the double titles from their ninth album, Moments in between. The album is well suited for autumn and showcases NELL’s unique color.
It is no surprise the band is considered a representative of modern rock in South Korea. With a perfect balance of programming sounds and real instruments, “U-Hee” in particular exquisitely crosses pop and rock, allowing you to feel the charm of NELL’s music.
The music video uses a beautiful forest as the backdrop and makes excellent use of saturated colors to contrast the earthly tones. The band used the same forest in their “Beautiful Jeopardy” music video, the other title track from the same album. In “Beautiful Jeopardy,” strings, brass, and percussion arrangements rise above dreamy vocals while warm band sounds create a deep resonance in the hearts of listeners. Overall, Moments in between is another exceptional addition to the band’s discography.
