Park Seo Joon Joins The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Park Seo Joon is confirmed to be taking part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

On September 3rd KST, the actor’s agency confirmed his participation in a Marvel movie and announced that he has already left South Korea to work in the production.

Awesome ENT expressed their gratitude for the public’s interest and support towards the actor as he goes on to tackle a new challenge in his career. They also addressed the curiosity surrounding the film, stating that they plan to reveal details about the title, the character that Park Seo Joon will be playing, the location, and the schedule for the filming in the future.

Park Seo Joon and his label remain mum on the project but speculation on his involvement in “The Marvels” has been the topic of rumors since June. The movie is an upcoming superhero film directed by Nia DaCosta and stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani.

It follows the Marvel Comics heroes Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel and acts as a sequel to previous releases, “Captain Marvel” and “Avengers: Endgame.” The film also crosses over to the shows “Wandavision,” “Ms. Marvel,” and “Secret Invasion.”

As Park Seo Joon has confirmed his status as part of the cast, this makes him the third Korean actor to act in Marvel movies as he follows Claudia Kim (“Avengers: Age of Ultron”) and Ma Dong Seok (“The Eternals”). “The Marvels” is set to be released in the US on November 11th, 2022.
