On August 23rd KST, Jang Ki Yong (who recently starred in the romantic-comedy series “My Roommate Is A Gumiho”) began his military service.

According to his agency YG Entertainment, the enlistment location and time were not revealed to fans in order to observe proper protocols in curbing the spread of COVID-19. The agency encouraged fans to continue supporting Jang Ki Yong while he is completing his 18 months of military service.

The handsome and talented actor finished filming his newest upcoming romantic drama entitled “Now We Are Breaking Up” with actress Song Hye Kyo before he enlisted. Through his recent Instagram post, he showed his new haircut and shared a handwritten letter for his fans.

Jang Ki Yong is known for dramas like “Come and Hug Me,” “Search: WWW,” “Go Back Couple,” and “My Ahjussi,” as well as movies such as “Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos” and “Sweet & Sour.” We wish him all the best as he enlists in the army!
