On July 30th at midnight KST, AKMU unveiled the music video for “Tictoc Tictoc Tictoc,” their collaboration track with rapper Beenzino.
Beenzino and Chanhyuk penned the lyrics while FEEJAY composed the song alongside the latter. “Tictoc Tictoc Tictoc” talks about the endless noise and expectations placed on a person who just longs to hear the silence.
Next Episode, is the AKMU’s first collaboration album and features an impressive line-up of artists consisting of IU, Zion.T, Beenzino, Jannabi’s Choi Junghoon, Crush, and Sam Kim.
The seven tracks they prepared for the listeners aims to provide a feeling of “transcendal freedom” to give them comfort during troubling times. A music video for “Battlefield (Hey kid, Close your eyes)” was pre-released last July 20th KST and the title track “Nakka (Fall)” was revealed on July 27th at 6 p.m. KST. Another music video was unveiled for “Stupid Love Song” on July 28th KST.
This is their first EP in two years after dropping Sailing back in September 2019 while a digital single called “Happening” was released in November last year.
