An interesting group has debuted on June 30th at 6 p.m. KST!
Launching onto the stage with a mini-album titled VAMOS along with a music video of the same name, the team introduced themselves to eager fans as OMEGA X.
The title track “VAMOS” is an EDM hip-hop piece, generously dotted with Spanish terms, which describes passionately pursuing someone and promising them a good time. It was written by AnoTHer and HOYAS. There are four more songs included in the EP which is comes in two physical versions: “O” and “X.”
OMEGA X is composed of familiar faces as the group features members who are still with or were previously part of other K-pop teams. A good chunk of the line-up also competed on idol survival shows such as “MIXNINE,” “Produce 101 Season 2,” “The Unit,” and “Under 19.”
Hangyeom was a formerly of Seven O’Clock while Jaehan was on SPECTRUM and OneVoices. Taedong was part of the pre-debut line-up of GIDONGDAE. Meanwhile, Xen and Jehyun were in 1TEAM. Kevin, Junghoon, and Hyuk previously promoted as idols under ENOi and Yechan was introduced as a member of project group, 1THE9. Hwichan is still listed under LIMITLESS while Sebin is also currently included as part of SNUPER.
