WayV’s first unit, consisting of powerhouse vocalists Kun & Xiaojun, released their first single on June 16th at 6 p.m. KST.
Title track “Back To You” is a heart-stirring ballad that blends lyrical piano melodies with the unrivalled singing of Kun and Xiaojun. The lyrics were written by Mando-pop lyricist Xiao Han and depict the feelings of love, which wither and burn again over time. It likens the feeling to seasons changing and that love will eventually bloom again brightly.
Composed by Minho Jin, who also arranged the track with Jonghan Lee, the heavy strings and colorful orchestra instruments express the mood of the song more deeply.
Back To You contains a total of three songs including pop ballad “Sleepless” and an English version of “Back To You” which are sure to melt the hearts of global fans.
