Monsta X returns for some action on June 1st at 6 p.m. KST with a new album along and a music video for “Gambler”!
Written by members I.M and Joohoney along with Ye-Yo! (Yeyosound), Laser, Hwang Yoo Bin, and Jooyoung, its lyrics compare the feeling of attraction to the anticipation of taking a risky gamble. The accompanying music video follows Monsta X as they plan out a thrilling escapade and suavely make their way through a heist.
While Shownu is present in the recorded tracks and the music video, he will not be participating in album promotions to focus on recuperation. He revealed that he is experiencing issues due to retinal detachment and has decided to opt out of comeback activities.
One of a Kind, the group’s ninth mini-album, includes a total of seven songs and is available in four different versions. Monsta X previously returned with their third Korean album Fatal Love and “Love Killa” in November 2020.
