Rocket Punch returned with a new single album and a music video for “Ring Ring” on May 17th at 6 p.m. KST!
The newtro-tinged track was written, composed, and arranged by Stupid Squad and sings cheekily about waiting for a phone call to decide on who their heart goes to.
The rest of the group’s first single album, entitled Ring Ring, also follows the newtro trend with “I Want U Bad,” which tells of a waiting lover, and “Ride,” which explores the concept of awakening.
Rocket Punch last had a comeback in 2020 with the third installment of their “COLOR PUNCH” series. PINK PUNCH and “Bim Bam Bum” was released in 2019, and RED PUNCH and “BOUNCY” dropped in January 2020. BLUE PUNCH and “JUICY” completed the trilogy before the girls went on an eight-month hiatus.
