On January 25th at 6 p.m. KST, iKON‘s Bobby returned with a long-awaited solo album and a music video for his title track, “U MAD.”
“U MAD” expresses a distaste for material greed and issues mockery for those who continue to fall prey to it. It also directs ire and frustration towards one’s self for their perceived weaknesses. Bobby wrote the lyrics and co-composed the song with The PROOF (who also took charge of arrangement).
LUCKY MAN is Bobby’s second full album and he personally wrote, composed, and produced for each of the 17 tracks included. iKON co-members Donghyuk and Junhoe participated in two of the songs.
Bobby released his digital solo called “Holup!” in 2016 and dropped his first studio album, Love and Fall, the following year. He previously returned with iKON in 2020 with the mini-album i DECIDE and its title track, “Dive.”
