Jeong Sewoon completes his first full album and drops a music video for its title track, “In the Dark”!
Released on January 6th KST, “In the Dark” brings a comforting message of hope and finding your light in the midst of darkness. Its lyrics were written by Jeong Sewoon, Lovey, and Jooyoung while Jeong Sewoon, 1MAD, and makeumine works composed the song.
The singer’s first studio album, titled 24, is divided into two sections with six songs each. The 24 Part 1 was released in July 2020 and headlined by the track, “Say Yes.” This second installment, 24 Part 2, drops around six months later to complete the musical collection.
Jeong Sewoon participated in “Produce 101 Season 2,” landing 12th place in the finale and narrowly missing a spot on the Wanna One line-up. He soon debuted in 2017 under Starship Entertainment with a mini-album and became part of a project group called YDPP which was co-created with Brand New Music. He sang OSTs for hit television dramas such as “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?,” “Touch Your Heart,” and “Extraordinary You.”
