Several popular and talented contestants from the hit show “I-LAND” will soon be making their debut!
On December 31st, Big Hit Japan that they would be launching the Big Hit Japan Global Debut Project to produce artists who would begin their careers in Japan before going on to perform worldwide.
The artists who will be debuting under the new project include “I-LAND” contestants K, Ta-Ki, Kyungmin, EJ, and Nicholas. In addition, Big Hit will hold auditions called “&AUDITION” to find additional members to complete the new group. After the group is fully formed, they will make their debut in 2021.
The debut project will have several mentors who will be supporting the artists under Big Hit Japan’s training system. The mentors include Big Hit CEO Bang Si Hyuk, producer Pdogg, performance director Son Sung Deuk, performance director Sakura Inoue, and producer and sound director Soma Genda. In addition, two special advisors were announced to be producers and songwriters Ryosuke Imai and UTA.
Along with the announcement, Big Hit released profile pictures for the current members, as well as a video from the group as well.
