BTS‘ Jimin gave fans an early Christmas gift with the release of a new song called “Christmas Love” on December 24th KST!
Produced by Slow Rabbit and with lines penned alongside members Jimin and RM, the singer himself wrote that he shared the bright song in the midst of such difficult times to bring comfort to listeners.
He stated that “Christmas Love” expresses the feelings that resonated through him when he first saw thick snow falling as a child. The experience has then stayed with him as one of his most treasured memories.
Jimin understands that though we grow and miss our childhood, recalling the innocence of those times, the weight of responsibility that come with growth has pushed us to suppress our emotions. He hopes that even though it feels childish, we can still consider expressing ourselves more freely and reminds us that we are all always worthy of love.
He then wraps up the sentimental post with a wish that everyone will be happy and that through his song, the listener can be taken back to their precious memories.
