Nam Joo Hyuk is back on the big screen with his new romantic film, ”Josée”!
Directed and written by Kim Jong Kwan, “Josée” tells the story of a disabled woman (Han Ji Min) who meets a guy named Young Suk (Nam Joo Hyuk). Josée begins to grow fond of Young Suk’s presence and their love story begins.
The film is a remake of a 2003 Japanese hit film entitled “Josee, the Tiger and the Fish.” It is based on a romantic novel “Joze to Tora to Sakana-tachi” by Seiko Tanabe which was published in 1984.
Director Kim said that he didn’t kept the original title for the movie since he will be making the film according to his own perspective on current society rather than keeping the original story which has its own value.
Fans are expecting undeniable chemistry between the main cast after they showed great potential while working together in JTBC drama ”The Light In Your Eyes” back in 2019. “Josée” premieres on December 10th KST under Warner Bros Korea.
