WATCH: Park Jongchan (Formerly Spectrum’s Hwarang) Produces Collaboration With Dad Park Jungkyu In “You, Me And Dream” MV

In a very touching project, Park Jongchan, formerly Hwarang of boy group SPECTRUM, helped his dad Park Jungkyu to fulfill a 30-year-old dream by releasing a song titled, “You, Me And Dream.”

The song was released on September 22nd KST through the rapper’s YouTube channel where he documented the progress of the project through short videos, featuring both of his parents in some wholesome and heartwarming family moments.

Jongchan even interviewed his father where he reveals that this has been a dream of his for 30 years. It is an inspiring story of never giving up on your dreams or aspirations.

Jongchan produced, composed, and wrote the lyrics for the song and did all the A&R work for the album as well. Jungkyu not only provided the exceptional vocals on the track but he also worked as executive producer too. Fellow former SPECTRUM member Donggyu even participated in the creation of the album’s artwork.

“You, Me And Dream” is an emotional ballad carried by the incredible and impassioned vocal performance of Jungkyu. This may be the singer’s first release but the power and sincerity you can feel from his voice is something truly instinctive and special.

The music video was unveiled in the third episode of the video series, which includes both father and son speaking heartfelt words about the release at the conclusion of the MV.
