On September 15th, Top Media posted a statement on boy group 100%’s official fancafe, revealing that main rapper and vocalist Chanyong received a medical discharge from the military in May.
According to the statement, the idol was fully determined to finish his enlistment. However, it was decided by the military that it would be too difficult for him to continue. So, unfortunately, he was discharged.
The company reported that since being discharged, Chanyong has been spending his time focused on treatment and his condition is vastly improving.
Chanyong also took to the group’s fancafe to share a letter to fans. He expressed his desire to finish out his service, but he said due to his body and mind he was unable. He assured fans they should not worry as he is improving and will be continuing to focus on his treatment.
