YG Entertainment has revealed their plans to fully support iKON and WINNER in 2017.
YG founder Yang Hyun Suk revealed that both groups will be making their comeback before the end of March and will continue various activities throughout the rest of the year.
WINNER is an idol group that was formed in 2014, while iKON debuted in 2015. Both groups have seen a lot of success on charts, but neither one has promoted heavily, especially the group WINNER. This fact has led many fans to complain about the treatment of the two groups, claiming YG has neglected them in favor of other groups like BIGBANG and even rookie girl group BLACKPINK.
Yang Hyun Suk stated, “This year, I will be focusing mostly on WINNER and iKON… Last year, BLACKPINK made a successful debut, so we will now be devoting our efforts to the two boy groups.”
