SuperM has released their newest MV, entitled “Tiger Inside (호랑이).”
On September 1st at 1 p.m KST, the SMTOWN group (made up of Taemin of SHINee, Baekhyun and Kai of EXO, Taeyong and Mark of NCT 127, and Ten and Lucas of WayV) released their new track to the excitement of fans. The beautiful video is filled with rich colors and tones which set off the unique sets and make for the perfect backdrops against the members’ stunning visuals and interesting costumes. The group’s choreography doesn’t fail to keep viewers’ attention as the catchy song— possibly the best the group has released to date— charms the ears with a vibe that seems to be the perfect concept for the group!
Combining rap verses with a dance-pop chorus, then mixing it with a beautiful vocal bridge from Baekhyun and Taemin, the song manages to capture all of the strengths of the group while providing an effortless blend within the track “Tiger Inside.”
Before the release of the video, the group held a live countdown broadcast where they talked about the song, the choreography, and much more. Member Taemin shared the point dance, giving tips about how to do it. He revealed that the most important part of the dance was the emphasis on the hand and how they form “tiger claws” during the choreography. He said it’s important to dance with anger and fierceness to emphasize the feeling of a ferocious tiger insider.
The new song will be on the group’s upcoming full album, Super One – The 1st Album, to be released on September 25th. Meanwhile, another pre-release track for the album was also released already, so click here to watch SuperM’s MV for “100.”
