Kang Min Hyuk, drummer of K-pop boy band CNBLUE, has been officially confirmed as the male lead for an upcoming romance drama entitled “Not Thirty Yet” (literal translation).

On August 11th, it was reported that Kang Min Hyuk will take on the role of Lee Seung Yu, an employee at a publishing firm who is also the first love of Seo Ji Won (played by actress Jung In Sun). Lee Seung Yu is going to be portrayed as a person living life to the fullest while harbouring loneliness and pain deep in his heart.

“Not Yet Thirty” is reportedly going to have 15 episodes in total with each episode being approximately 20 minutes long. Filming is set to begin later this month, and the series is going to be released via a new video platform by KakaoTalk.

This will mark Min Hyuk’s first drama role since his military discharge back in March of 2020. We look forward to seeing him on the small screen again and wish him all the best in his endeavors!
