Rainy days just bring on a certain mood, don’t they? There is something about the gray skies and wet sidewalks that makes you turn to certain songs which suit the weather.
While K-pop may be known primarily for its upbeat tracks and fun, dance music, there are plenty of other genres to enjoy as well. As such, here are some of our favorite songs for when rain begins to fall.

1.”Through The Night” (IU)
This beautiful song talks about missing and loving someone, as well as being afraid that their loved one will disappear. With IU’s sweet vocals, the song is really good to listen as the rain falls.
2. “Rain” (Soyou & EXO’s Baekhyun)
“Rain” is a track about remembering your past love and the pain you feel when you’re left alone. The lyrics talk about reminiscing over shared moments as the rain pours in the background. Soyou and Baekhyun’s vocals are perfect together, and their harmony really suits the song as well.
3. “Insomnia” (The Rose)
“Insomnia” is about a person who can’t sleep as the memories they wanted to forget come rushing back. They are left with regrets and confusion as they simultaneously wanted to break up but also have their ex ask them to stay. Now, they are just left wanting to see their loved one again, even if it’s in a nightmare or a dream.
4. “Fall” (Crush)
“Fall” is from the album wonderlust, released on October 14, 2016. This song talks about a person’s feeling after a break up. He sings about how he still can’t forget about his love and that he doesn’t want to fall in love again.
5. “Don’t Forget” (iKON)
In the song, it says that it’s possible that nothing truly lasts forever in this world. It then goes on to pose the question that if that’s true, will their loved one still remember them even after time passes by. A track about someone who doesn’t want to be forgotten and doesn’t want to forget, this is an emotional track that’s great for rainy day.
6. “Love Me” (Mind U)
This song talks about a guy who’s in love with a girl and hoping her heart will lightly come towards him. They start off as strangers and as time goes by, he hopes they will become closer and find love.
7. “Enough” (Hoppipolla)
“Enough” is a track from Hoppipolla’s album Spring to Spring. The heartbreaking lyrics talk about realizing your partner is lying to you and doesn’t love you anymore, so you ask them to stop saying they love you and help you to move on instead. The vocals and the sound of the instruments on this track are really amazing, so you might feel like crying!
8.”The Unknown Guest” (DEAN)
“The Unknown Guest” is a short, yet emotional and personal song where the singer doesn’t want it to rain because he always plays the same song. With the song, he remembers a night when he left certain words unsaid. Instead, he decides to return to dreamland instead.
9. “Forever Rain” (BTS’ RM)
“Forever Rain” is about a person who wishes it would rain all day since it’s the good way to hide his sad expressions as people rush around trying not to get wet. In addition, he likens the rain to the “tears” of the sky, helping him to feel a little less lonely himself.
10. “With U” (ATEEZ)
A song about making memories together, every moment can be called special. No matter the challenges you face, you can still continue your journey with your loved ones and make new memories together as you support one another.
