A special group has joined the fray!
On July 25th at 8 p.m. KST, Linda G (Lee Hyori), B-Ryong (Rain), and U-Doragon (Yoo Jaesuk) officially introduced themselves as the project group SSAK3 and released the music video for their debut track, “Beach Again”!
The dance pop single, also referred to as “Summer Sea Again,” was digitally revealed last July 18th KST. Its lyrics speak of unexpectedly meeting a past lover and looking back at carefree memories with them at the beach. “Beach Again” went on to hit a perfect all-kill upon its release, joining Zico, IU, and BLACKPINK in a very short list of songs that managed to achieve the same feat this 2020.
Art director Lumpens, who worked on projects with BTS, was tagged by SSAK3 to help with the production of their own music video. Full earnings from the trio’s promotional activities and sales will be handed over to help support communities in need.
SSAK3 is a 90s-style project group born from the MBC show “Hangout with Yoo/How Do You Play?” They recently introduced a pre-debut remake of Deux‘s 1994 song called “In the Summer” featuring S.B.N. (Kwanghee) and has announced plans to drop more songs for each member.
