On July 5th at 6 p.m. KST, (G)I-DLE officially released a special digital single and music video called “i’M THE TREND.”
Members Minnie and Yuqi helped compose the song which was first revealed during their online concert last July 5th KST. The laidback Latin-based track references many of the group’s previous endeavors including the shows that they went on and the names of their hit songs. Meanwhile, its music video features the girls in silly candid shots during a resort vacation.
(G)I-DLE had their most recent comeback this April with the album I Trust and the title track, “Oh My God.”
